Although storm start times and duration are given to the minute, there is some uncertainty as to the exact start times and durations. In order not to miss activity you may want to start observations several minutes earlier than the predicted start times. Remember that some predicted storms do not materialize.

Summertime observations will be more difficult due to the occurence of lightning. Please disconnect your antenna during any lightning storm.
